Kate Campbell is an author based on a remote island in the Scottish Highlands. She began writing from a very early age with a passion for fantasy, loving nothing more than to get lost in a world of magic and mystery. Her debut fantasy novel ‘The Whisper of Calaresp’ was published in 2021 and was very well received, leading to her being invited to speak on a panel at Edinburgh’s Cymera Festival.
She also delves into horror and has released two collections of short ghost stories, ‘In the Shadows’ and ‘A Haunting Winter’. Which has allowed Kate to thoroughly explore and research Scotland’s rich and ghost-filled history.
Kate’s latest fantasy book has recently been picked up by a publisher and is due to be released within the next year. It’s the first in a trilogy and she’s excited to see where this new adventure will take her.
